Air France Unveils Its Most Luxurious First-Class Suite Yet, Redefining Comfort and Privacy
Air France’s new La Première suite sets a new benchmark in first-class luxury, featuring a fully modular design, cutting-edge technology, and 25% more space than its predecessor.
A New Standard in First-Class Travel
Air France has introduced its latest first-class cabin, La Première suite, a revolutionary concept designed to offer unmatched privacy, flexibility, and elegance. The suite spans nearly 3.5 square meters, making it the airline’s most spacious first-class offering to date.
At the heart of this design is a fully modular layout, featuring a plush armchair and a chaise lounge that seamlessly transforms into a full-length bed. Each suite is enclosed by a thick mesh curtain, creating a private cocoon, while the side suites feature five portholes, flooding the space with natural light.
For passengers traveling together, the central suites include an electric sliding partition, allowing for both privacy and connection at the touch of a button.
Elegance Meets Functionality
Crafted with premium materials, including full-grain leather, plush wool, and metallic accents, the La Première suite embodies French sophistication. The armchair, adorned with Air France’s winged seahorse emblem, adjusts to each passenger’s preferred seating position, offering exceptional comfort.
To enhance space, the suite features:
Floor-mounted storage instead of overhead compartments
A large sliding drawer accommodating two cabin suitcases
Additional storage beneath the chaise lounge for shoes and smaller items
A personal backlit vanity mirror and a dedicated cloakroom
The lighting system is equally refined, with customizable ambient lighting, including translucent and blackout electric blinds, as well as wall and floor lamps embossed with the airline’s signature seahorse motif.
Cutting-Edge In-Flight Technology
Air France has seamlessly integrated advanced technology into La Première, ensuring a truly high-tech, personalized experience:
Two 32-inch 4K entertainment screens
Wireless device charging and Bluetooth connectivity
Noise-canceling headphones
A touchscreen tablet to control seating, lighting, and entertainment
Free high-speed Wi-Fi across the fleet
First Routes and Exclusive Access
After three years of development, La Première will debut on select Boeing 777-300ERs, with the first flights launching on the New York-JFK route in spring 2025. Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda will follow.
Passengers in La Première will also enjoy access to Air France’s ultra-exclusive Paris-Charles de Gaulle lounge, which was unveiled ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
According to Air France-KLM CEO Ben Smith, the new suite is designed to establish Air France as Europe’s leader in airline luxury, competing with top-tier global carriers.
With an increasing number of high-net-worth leisure travelers, Air France is positioning La Première as a compelling alternative to private jet travel, offering unrivaled comfort, privacy, and service at 35,000 feet.
