Emirates unveils First Class suites in Australia, and premium economy on all Victorian flights
Emirates Introduces Next-Level First-Class Suites, Adds Third Daily Melbourne-Dubai Flight
Emirates has unveiled its next-generation first-class suites in Australia, with Melbourne leading the way. The city is also the first in Emirates’ network to offer premium economy across all flights, thanks to the airline’s newly retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER.
The debut of these upgraded cabins coincides with Emirates’ launch of a third daily non-stop service between Melbourne and Dubai, which began on March 30, 2025. This additional flight increases capacity and flexibility for Australian travelers heading to Dubai and beyond.
For first-class passengers, the fully enclosed private suites offer floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, zero gravity seats, personal temperature controls, and even virtual windows for middle-row travelers. Emirates has also elevated its inflight dining with a signature caviar experience and expanded premium offerings.
Melbourne Airport CEO Lorie Argus highlighted the benefits of the new service: “Having three daily non-stop flights to Dubai offers travelers both choice and convenience into one of the world’s most connected hubs.”
The expanded service enhances Emirates’ connectivity to over 40 European destinations, including London, Paris, and Frankfurt. It also marks a major step in the airline’s multi-billion-dollar cabin refurbishment program, aimed at providing a next-level experience across its fleet.
